Dots adhesive coating is a process by which “dots” of adhesive - and not an “adhesive layer” - are coated on a liner.
This versatile coating process opens new assembling opportunities for double-sided tapes in major industries a.o. on non porous, porous or wet substrates.
Applications
To assemble filter parts more productively, the adhesive does not fill in the “perforated” areas.
White Goods Industry : fixing the front panels to the device. The Dots adhesive permits to drain gas, air or water out through the adhesive free network to avoid the bubbling aspect and to permit direct adhesion on wet surface.
Assembling of small pieces : In the shoe or textile industry (positioning before sewing), in the miniature market…
In the medical industry : the adhesive is tested and approved for skin contact and enables and better skin breathing.
