Awards 2006 - MACtac World Wide Winner

The three juries of the 5th edition of the MACtac Worldwide Awards have returned their verdicts in Athens (Greece), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) and Sarasota (Fla, USA).
Technical and creative experts have chosen among exceptionally high quality entries, having to judge design and impact or technical achievement of each job.

The entries were submitted in 4 categories : Vehicle Graphics, Exterior Signs, Interior Signs and Technical Achievements. Small scale/budget jobs have also been awarded as special mentions.

MACtac is pleased to congratulate all the winners and to thank all participants for their contribution to this event.

 More possibilities with the new MACmark Glass Decor films

MACmark 9800 Pro : a new performance and 40 new trendy colours

To increase converters’ productivity, MACtac has made its renowned 9800 Pro Series thinner : from 70µm to 66µm.  This new thickness is the ideal trade-off between plotter cutting of small characters and the application of large graphics.
A thin and conformable film helps cutting and weeding small characters but sign-makers need a thicker and more rigid film to apply large decals.

A 66µm film helps converters cut and weed decals easily and without wasting time while allowing the trouble free application of large decals. Furthermore, MACtac is adding 40 new trendy colours to its 9800 Pro NEW PERFORMANCE Series.

The new colours have been carefully selected with designers and converters. in mind so they can create colourful graphics and decorations using new and attractive shades, for example : pastels, sienna and lavender.

New MACtac application tape for a better decal transfer

MACtac is replacing its current MACtransfer AT 200 E Application Tape quality by the new MACtransfer AT 220.
This improved quality offers a more aggressive adhesive with higher tack properties which guarantees a better decal transfer and therefore assists in the application process.
